Call of Duty: World at War
I really want to hear input on this one. I personally love Call of Duty Modern Warfare, so I was anxious to see this one.
There is a ton of action as is to be expected and I have read many reviews on this game. Some for it, some against it.
No matter what anyone says, if you’re a Call of Duty fan, than you will remain one. When you’re playing this game you just feel like you’re there. You’re in the mix, it’s all about you and surviving the war.
There are the famous air and sea battles, and of course tons of dead bodies piling up.
I love that you and 3 other friends can team up during the campaign mode.
My favorite on most games is the multi-player mode and that is where Call of Duty has always pleased. Unlock your perks, rank up, it’s all there.
In World at War, 3 kills in a row now gets you a spotting plan instead of your UAV. Five kills and you have an “artillery strike”. Seven kills, and you gotta love this one… dogs. Yeah dogs. A pack of them. You set them loose and off they go ready to rip some flesh from the bone.
The strangest thing about this new game has to be the Zombie mode. It’s called “Night of the Undead”. Zombies are on the attack and coming for you and 3 of your friends and you have to do your best to stop the onslaught. It reminds me of Gears 2 where you battle with your buds to hold back the constant Locast attacks.
All in all if you’re a Call of Duty fan, then World at War is a must have.
