Let’s run down the good the bad and the ugly on this game.

Just released today for the XBox 360, PS3 and the PC, this game for the most part is getting good reviews.

The graphics in this game are amazing and the mixture of black and white with color is phenomenal.  The shooting is of course a TON of fun.

Then there is the bad.  It’s said that the driving controls aren’t at their best.

The ugly-certain stealth elements are underdeveloped.  They could have used a little more testing in this area before releasing this game.

I knew it, I can say that again and again and again.  I had no doubts this game was going to break records.

If you haven’t played it yet, you better go get yourself a copy.

Activision reported in it’s 1st day of sales the game has sold over $310 million.  Yes that is three hundred and ten million dollars!  On it’s first day!!!  This makes it the biggest launch in history.  And this is just for the US and UK, nevermind global sales.

We all know the economy has taking a turn for the worst over the last year.  So it’s not surprise that more companies have shut down and laid off employees.

The most recent headlines…

Idol Minds the developer behind the down loadable PS3 game “Pain” recently cut half of it’s staff members.  Inside information states the reason for this lay off was due to “Sony budget cuts”.  It’s sad since Idol Minds has been in business for 11 years and their game “Pain” was the most downloaded PSN game as of January 2009.  It’s really so sad to hear.

Getting into an open beta test allows you a chance to gain experience even if you do not get paid for it.

An open beta is a chance for gamers to get key codes to participate in testing upcoming games.  Many major publishers and developers at some point hold open betas.  You just have to know where to look to get in on them.

Some beta keys are given out with games.  So a company releases a new game with a chance for you to get in an open beta for another upcoming release.

Please, please, please tell me you’ve had a chance to check out the latest in the Halo series?  If not, you have no idea what you’re missing!

In this version, you are no longer the Master Chief, you’re just a UNSC soldier known as a ODST (Orbital Drop Shock Trooper) and you’re missing is exploring the ruins on Mombasa to find your missing teammates.  Not an easy task at all of course, but WAY fun.

Sales (as I expected) are soaring on this one.  You can’t miss all of the exciting multi-player action.

Black Jacket Studios

Machineworks Northwest

Located in Salem Oregon, Machineworks is all about mobile phone gaming including Duke Nukem Mobile 3D.

It’s over the top action or so they say.  Where you play the role of Rubi Malone.  Coming to stores near you on September 15th and available for the XBox 360 and PS3 this game is sure to please!

Full of attitude Rubi Malone is a sexy goddess living in the middle of an airline junkyard in the desert.  You name it Rubi will do it, if the price is right!

Skilled with guns swords and just about any weapon you can imagine, Rubi is destined to win any battle she chooses.

With the guide you can not only get the hang of the game, but also get some keys like solving the Riddler’s challenges.

So here are some basics.

Getting Armored Batman:
You beat the story mode to unlock this.  With it, you get a stronger Batman.

Joker Challenge:
You can download the Joker from the PlayStation store.  Once complete, you can use him in Challenge Mode.

If you don’t already have a PS3 or XBox 360 Pro or Elite now is the time to buy one!

Target recently advertised the reductions for the XBox 360 lines.  With the Pro coming in at $250 and the Elite coming in at $299.  Many of you have probably already heard that Sony cut the PS3 by $100.
